ABOUT US.
C.B.C is striving to be "A church building community, where everybody is somebody and Jesus Christ is Lord." This simply means we desire to be a people serving the community around us, enriching lives of others and empowering individuals to live to their full potential in Christ. This can only happen when God's community are engaging the community it's placed in with the gospel message in relavent ways. As we do our belief is that God's kingdom will be built within the community in which were placed.
Where everybody is somebody, in a world where people hang great credance upon status and image, to which only the select few belong, we believe that everybody is of infinate worth to God, because they are made in His Image. Our desire is for people in our community to be reconnected to their image bearer.
Sadly as we look around our world we see a different story, we see an image defaced not by God but by sin and humanity which is in rebellion against God. Yet despite our rebellion God is active in addressing this issue.

Everybody is searching for meaning and significance to life. CBC is a place where that search can really begin and be enjoyed. A place where people are reponding to the gospel and finding their true identity and purpose in life.
Finally we are a community of people where Jesus Christ is our Saviour and Lord. This simply means we are a people who have accepted that Jesus Christ died for our sins upon the cross and rose again for our justification. Through repentance and faith we have recieved the forgiveness of sins and New life that God offers to all.
Simply put Jesus has made a radical difference in our lives and we want to share this wonderful truth with others. Jesus has brought us together in partnership to make Him known. Our desire now is to glorify Him and enjoy Him right now and forever and make Him known to You!
